HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE
SECTION 52540
52540. The following definitions shall govern the construction and
interpretation of this part:
(a) "Corporation" means a corporation formed pursuant to Section
52550.
(b) "Low-income housing" means housing available at affordable
rent to lower income households, as defined in Section 50079.5.
(c) "Nonprofit corporation" means a nonprofit corporation
organized pursuant to the Nonprofit Corporation Law (Division 2
(commencing with Section 5000) of Title 1 of the Corporations Code),
or a limited equity housing cooperative, as defined by Section
11003.4 of the Business and Professions Code.
(d) "Very low income housing" means housing available at
affordable rents to very low income households as defined by Section
50105.
